The Mount Washington Resort project presented a unique and exciting challenge for Business Interiors Floor Covering. Working hand in hand with Beaty and Brown Interior Design, the construction manager and the new owners of the resort, all players in the project were charged with the task of returning the resort to its original elegance. The historic Mount Washington Resort was originally designed to highlight and frame the majestic views of the White Mountains, and the team was tasked with providing a design that mirrored but didn’t detract from the setting.

Business Interiors Floor Covering installed the intricate and handcrafted carpets designed by Beaty and Brown Interior Design to feature an old-world craftsman style throughout the lobby and dining rooms of the hotel. The marble and ceramic borders of the dining rooms were designed, laser-cut and meticulously reassembled on the floor by Business Interiors Floor Covering to mimic the appearance of a Greek key/robe motif. The installation process was tedious and took many skilled hours of labor, but the end result tied together two areas of the hotel with a timeless grace and elegance.
